Nobody's Soldier: A Counterculture RadioApple/ AppleRadio Zine

RadioApple, alternative subcultures, and saying fuck ICE. If these things appeal to you, you may just be in the right place.

The Vision

With Nobody's Soldier Zine, we aim to encourage contributors and readers to explore alternative subcultures! There are, of course, the ones everybody knows, like punks, goths, emos, and scene kids. But there are so many more to explore! We want to get creative and really dive into alternative subculture on a deeper level. At the end of the project, we aim to donate proceeds to We Are CASA, an organization that works directly with immigrant communities and supports communities in need. Find out more about We Are Casa on their website!

Not all of us in the fandom are from the USA, but even if you are not, you are likely aware of the dire political situation our country is in. ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is one of the biggest dangers here now. They routinely violate human rights, abuse citizens and non-citizens alike, and kidnap our neighbors from their homes. They separate families, ruin lives, and in more recent cases, are responsible for detaining people in unethical camps and prisons without trial. People all over the country are pushing back, and we believe that everyone can do something, even if it is just a little. This zine is our something.
